Artist duo Kevin Papa and Genna Ciccarelli collect discarded items found across North Carolina and give them a second life as sculptural lamps. Each piece is built from found litter — transformed through careful design, reuse, and collaboration.
Inside the Studio: Adam Dehus Art
As part of Boonerang Art Festival 2025, I spent time in the compact, under-100-square-foot studio of Durham illustrator and screen printer Adam Dehus. Surrounded by inks, tools, and hand-drawn designs, Adam prints each piece himself. This project offers a close look at the space where his work takes shape, and the thoughtful, hands-on approach behind it.
